Drew tells us the inspiration behind this artwork: 

"Every day I ride my bike down to check the waves at the pier.  This is my view.  Off in the distance is Cotton's Point, where President Nixon used to live in what was called 'The Western Whitehouse.' 

Midway is the famed surf break called T-Street.  There are lots of nooks and crannies in between.

From this view, I'm standing on the San Clemente pier, enjoying the silhouettes of palm trees and feeling so fortunate to live in paradise."
