This art piece was one of Drew's most meaningful, as it was inspired by his perspective on the gift of life after his father's passing.

After Drew's brush with death in early 2022 (over 100 days in the hospital and 70 days on a ventilator), Drew asked us to bring this artwork back to life.  

The original painting is currently at Keen Footwear's headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

"A Life Well Lived"

Drew Brophy says of this art piece:  "I painted this live during the Keenfest in Salt Lake City, Utah 2014. It was mural project for Keen footwear; the mural was 6ft tall and 18ft long.

I've had a long relationship with the folks at Keen; they are so much more than a shoe company; they are people striving to do everything better.

While creating this piece, I realized that it was about getting into nature, doing things to the best of your ability for the benefit of everyone, and the connection to each other and the environment.

I began to think of what a Gift it is to be born into this beautiful world full of possibilities.

We are a miracle searching for new experiences, we are the rain that nourishes all life.

This painting was heavily influenced by the loss of my father. When I think of my Dad, I think of all that he gave me, all of our shared memories.

In the end that’s all that is left, experiences of time together."
