ABOUT THE ART

The original BUDDHA painting was a gift for Drew's wife, Maria, for her birthday.  She had asked for a Buddha that was "in shape" and fit.  This was Drew's rendition of a Buddha who lives a healthy lifestyle.  While painting the original,  Drew used a combination of acrylic paints and water-based Uni Posca paint pens, his favorite medium.
