ABOUT 

Drew tells us the inspiration behind this artwork: 

"LIVING ON THE BEACH was inspired by the dream of surfing every day without a care in the world.

In the early 1990’s I got a taste of this dream on the North Shore of Hawaii.  I rented a room from Mick O’Brien and his son Jamie right on the beach at my favorite surf spot, Pipeline.  Jamie O’Brien later grew up to be a professional surfer and v-logger.

Those were some of the best days of my life.  Although Mick would drink all my beer and young Jamie would eat all my cereal!  Later on, that same house was home to another world surfing champ, John John Florence."
