Island Vibe - Complete Skateboard

ISLAND VIBE complete skateboard deck with art by Drew Brophy.  This is a collectible skateboard.

32x9.75 inch fish tail surf style skateboard deck. 

This skateboard leaves an impression!

• The bottom of the board is a beautiful art piece by Drew Brophy
• The deck of the board is a beautifully stained veneer 
• We added an extra special touch with Drew’s laser engraved logo on the deck.

The original artwork was painted by Drew on Lost Surfboards in a collaboration with shaper Matt Biolos.  Drew wanted to re-create the art onto collectible skateboard decks.

Drew says of his inspiration for this art:  “Island Vibe is my traditional wave, sun and grass shack that I love to paint. Every surfer dreams of having his own little spot where he can just surf every day. I have dreamed of this my whole life! 

Flying fish are always spotted flying through the waves, escaping bigger fish below.  This art epitomizes the island vibe.

This entire skate deck series is inspired by two of my favorite personal surfboards; the Lost round-nose fish and the Mark Richards MR original twin fin fish.

My old days of riding skateboards was always a way to get to the beach. I have fond memories of bombing the hills, going to Upper Trestles. Making turns at the bottom of the hill was treacherous! 

These decks are a celebration of the original surfboards. They are great to hang on the wall as art, and also are super functional if you want to bomb hills or carve your way around town when the waves are flat.”
